I made the mistake of getting tattoo'd during impetuous youth. My ideas seemed good at the time, and I rushed to get them permanently affixed to my body. Alas, after many years, I've made the drastic discovery that I've aged...both body and mind...and now those tattoo's hold very little meaning for me. So, I've covered most of them, but I keep a few as reminder to what an ambitious idea mixed with little-to-no patience can land you. And I don't hesitate to show my bad tattoo's to customers... warnings of hasty decisions.
I'm a firm believer in the planning stage of getting a tattoo. It is often a cathartic experience, and I'll strongly suggest spending time in consideration, working out designs to fit body parts, and overall aesthetic of the piece.
I particularly love religious imagery and symbology in tattoo's, from grand spanning designs, to the small ornate.
